We’re a team of builders, designers, and innovators making sustainable living simple and accessible. Since 2016, we’ve been crafting certified prefab panels in Minden, Ontario—proving that world-class building science doesn’t need big cities or complicated processes.
Our Story
Nine years ago, we asked a simple question: Why wait until 2030 to build homes the right way?
We started Quantum because sustainable living shouldn’t be complicated, expensive, or exclusive. It should be fast, affordable, and available to everyone—from young families to remote communities to multi-residential developers.
Today, we manufacture certified Passive House panels that install in hours, cut energy use by up to 90%, and make quality construction predictable. Our team came from BC, Calgary, Toronto, and beyond—leaving secure jobs to build something better.
We stayed in Minden when everyone said we should move to the highway corridors. We trained our staff in advanced building science when the industry said it wasn’t worth it. We focused on panelization when modular was the trend.
Meet the Team
Abby leads Quantum Passivhaus with 45 years of construction experience and a decade pioneering prefabricated Passive House systems. His “innovation always” philosophy drives smarter, faster building solutions that redefine performance standards across North America. Guided by faith and family, Abby is committed to empowering people and creating opportunity.
Co-founded Quantum Passivhaus in 2017 and now orchestrates operations as Vice President. From strategy to team coordination, she connects every moving part while keeping the company’s culture collaborative and client-focused. Strategic, hands-on, and deeply invested in making sustainable building accessible
Chelsea brings over a decade of sales, design, and construction experience to Quantum Passivhaus. With diplomas in Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design, she guides clients through high-performance projects with clear communication and genuine care. Outside work, you’ll find her hiking or adventuring with her dog.
As Director of Operations, Jon oversees daily functions and driving strategies for efficiency and growth. With a background in mechanical engineering and accounting, plus over 10 years in manufacturing and fabrication, he brings a unique skillset fueled by passion for Canadian manufacturing and building better neighbourhoods.
Paul serves as VP of Finance, overseeing all financial matters with expertise from years as an auditor and CMA across multiple industries. He’s passionate about encouraging staff and building teams that achieve Quantum’s vision. Happily married for 44 years, Paul is a proud grandfather of seven.
As Bookkeeper and Assistant to VP of Finance, Sue manages bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative support. With over 10 years of bookkeeping experience, she ensures financial accuracy and smooth operations that keep Quantum running efficiently. Outside work, Sue enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
Rhett serves as Senior Project Manager, overseeing full project delivery from design through site execution. With over 10 years in construction management and extensive expertise in energy-efficient building and Passivhaus delivery, he drives clarity, efficiency, and collaboration so every project meets performance targets.
Corey serves as On-Site Quality Assurance Manager, ensuring compliance with Passive House standards through site inspections, testing, and meticulous documentation. With 20 years in building and one year specializing in QA, he’s committed to the highest quality standards in every phase of construction.
As Sales Representative and Energy Strategist, Mattias helps clients navigate energy performance targets and funding opportunities while delivering tailored building solutions. With expertise in Passive House standards and energy modeling, he translates complex building science into clear, actionable strategies that drive measurable results and long-term savings for every project.
